Does anyone have a list or a li k to a old List of what WAS AVAILABLE...

I know of the 30, 32, 357 x2 454 & 458 x2 molds. Just wondering if there was others?

There are .32 ACP, .380 ACP, 9mm, .357, .432 (.44), .452, .454 that I am aware of for handgun. His original .45 ACP as I recall was a bizarre .457" affair that he cooked up for his personal Taurus. The current 230 grain .452" affair available from NOE was the result of a group buy discussion effort with him on the NOE forum - one clever fellow suggested turning the front tumble lube groove into a crimper, Ranch Dog tweaked the drawing, and VOILA! all the Auto Rim and .45 Colt guys were happy too.

For rifles, there are .22 and a number of .30 cal options. He has a series of what he calls "short necks" that are weight-appropriate, and purpose-designed for the throats of 7.62x39, .300 Savage, and the .308 Win. The .308 one is SWEEEEEEEEEEET!

There are more. NOE used to have a menu option for "Ranch Dog Molds" that is no longer there. They also used to have the ability to look up any print for molds previously made - whether it was currently in inventory or not. That appears to be gone as well.

NOE Builds Ranch Dog Molds. If you will go on there forum there is a link for the ranch dog molds and information on them. Update had to go to NOE to make sure the info was still there. Go to the forum and look in casting and reloading and favorite loads. You should be able to find the information there. They have files for quick loads and drawing information for other bullet programs.

And I like TL/Micro grooves
In practice very effective
I know that the 9mm bullet has been used to good effect, one-shot stops on "man-sized hogs"
On purpose I believe
I know the .380 has two confrimed one-shot stops on hogs
Around 100 to 150 lbs out of necessity.
Not head shots.
I agree with the notion that there is no point in trying to use a HP in a .380 ACP

You guys forgot the 411 molds. 255gr and 265gr. I believe he dropped the 265 and went to 255 for some reason.

I bought one some years back for my 30/30 and 30-06, a 165 grain flat point. My rifles don't like them too much......but it was a Lee mold and makes nice boolits.

I have shot 4 deer with the 135 Ranch Dog. 3 of them were at impact speeds of 1900-2000 fps and one at about 1150-1200 fps.

The slower bullet took out a 1" section of upper leg bone of a small doe and then passed through the offside shoulder with WW alloy. These bullets at this speed penetrate 7 or 8 gallon jugs of water. She tried to take a couple steps and I shot her again, putting her down.

One of the faster ones was 2-2-96 and it mushroomed huge with 100% weight retention in the 357 rifle but did not pass through. Fist sized hole in the first lung, dime sized hole in the second lung and the deer went about 200 yards. Very big doe. This load only penetrated 3 jugs.

The other faster ones were with WDWW and they were pass throughs on big does with 50 yard or less tracking jobs. An inch wide hole all the way through with no bones hit. These bullets mushroom about 53-55 cal and have about 90% weight retention. 5 jugs.

The 100 grain and the 135 grain bullets punch way above their weight classes with the right alloy and velocity

I have the 165gn flat point and it shoots great in my 30-06.


I made sure to have a clean flat base, plain base, and seated to just touch the rifling.
This was the last target fired of a 100 round string, without cleaning, testing 45-45-10.
