I was wondering myself. I went and looked and his last post was on 6-24-19. Maybe he went on that prairie dog shoot he was talking about. The swaging forum seems pretty dead this summer.

    Still here.

Trying to get some orders out the door that have been on my list for a while, then got to machine some new dies to send to nitride that will also complete those orders.

Been a lot of family matters and obligations I have been tending to. It always gets that way for me during the summer months.

I will ensure I get replies to all inquires here and via email or Facebook. It may take me a little while but I'll get replies sent.

I do have a few new projects in the works as well, working on a 180 grain 6.5 cal bullet soon to be shot from a 28" 6.5 WSM.

Used 1.3" rce 30 cal to draw down, was able to make the 180 grains without ballistic tip, 11s ojive and 9 degree boat tail.

My only concern is the jacket thickness and its ability to withstand the 7 twist.

I have some thicker 30 cal jackets but a little shorter, probably make 165-170 grains. We shall see soon enough, barrel hasn't arrived yet.

How thick a 30 cal cup and how long would you want for drawing down? What twist rate are you running? Wheres the happy snaps of the bullet?

Barrel arrived yesterday, took a little longer to get here. The brass and dies did get lost in the mail so had to order more, they should be here first of next week.

Got work done on customer orders with six orders out the door last week.

And then listed a lot of guns and barrels online for sale in attempt to pay bills and hopefully have a little left over for more powder.

Now I need to start a production run of new dies and ship to nitride to fill remaining orders.

But the barrel is here, jackets are drawn, next free time I get will be spent cutting lead wire and bleeding cores.

Not long now. I'll start a new thread on the 180 grain 6.5 very soon.
