There are quite a few levers in my collection, but one of them that stands out is an 1894 Take Down octagon rifle in .30 WCF. Mfg in 1895, so the second year of production for the '94 model and the first year of production for the .30 WCF cartridge. Special order 3 leaf express rear sight and German silver tipped front sight. Excellent bore, decent wood, and a fair bit of original finish remaining. (It has a "sister" in the gun safe too ... an 1892 Take down octagon rifle, .44 WCF mfg about 1912, but I don't have any photos of it on hand.)

I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!

Only have one leveraction. Winchester 94 30-30 made in 1970. It's one of only 2 centerfire rifles. I don't want more than I can keep track of. Would like to add a couple thou, a winchester 71, a 22 rimfire, maybe a marlin 1895 45/70 or a 444.

Just off hand I have to admit that every one of them resembles a "lever action". I had never faced a question or the possibility that one or more might not; HHHMMMMMMMMMM??? Regardless of manufacturer or design....

I have over a dozen but do not shoot many of them. Most are Winchester collector guns. The ones shot the most are not Winchesters but three .38/.357's. Only one .22 and it is a Henry.

That's a unique rifle you have there! The sights look good and the takedown feature must be really neat to have.

Half octagon barrel on the bottom one? And why does the top barrel look so big?

    ...............Have a few. No photo's of two of'em. A Uberty M86 Hunter Light 45-70 and a Uberti M73 x 24" - 45 Colt.

    Rossi M92 short rifle, 357.

M93 Marlin I made up to mimic an early Marlin Light weight model.

M92 Rossi. 24" bbl. Color cased action & buttplate. 45 Colt.

M93 Marlin. 38-55 half round - half oct bbl, button magazine, 'S' type buttplate.

The above rifle came out of upper NY State, and was obviously someones well used but very well cared for deer rifle. Bore is great, and there are no noticeable nicks, dings, or bangs. Color cased action and the most finish wear is right there at the balance point where it was carried, at the action/barrel junction.

Miroku/Winchester M92, 45 Colt. I've been told it was an early one, but I've not researched it.

    Need to take a family photo some day. Some of my favorites are a 1913 Winchester 1892 25 20, a 1913 Savage 1899 303, a 1901 Marlin 1893 38 55, a 1906 Winchester 1894SRC 25 35 and my two custom Marlin 30AS’s in 307&356 Winchester. I have 17 in all.

yes I do have a lot of 94's. I listened to a old friend. one day I was in his shop and talking about how hard it was to find 73's and 92's. he said but 94's you will never get them all plus not many want them now but they will pick up. that was 45 years ago he was right.
