    I have a 686-6 in 2.5 inch barrel for sale . shot very little . price is $575 plus shipping .

    jules - A pre-lock 2.5" 686, if you can find one, is probably going to be in the $700+ range.

    If you're willing to spend that, there's one on Gunbroker right now. It is not mine, I just saw it this morning. I keep an eye on Gunbroker for that very model and the pre-lock, short barrel 686 are rapidly approaching collector status.

    Thanks for the heads up. A was offered an unfired -3 in box for $1,200. I just bought a 4" and didn't have the cash.
