    Found a Kleinguenther/Voere K-22

    Lucky find in a small gun shop in the area. Robert/Bob Kleinguenther has quite an interesting history himself, glad to have one of the rifles he modified. Came with rings but the dealer had sold the original scope off of the rifle. I have a few nice older scopes that might work. Be awhile before I get chance to shoot it but I think it will do fine.

    Gotta love a score on a rare gem like that! Shame the scope was sold separate but still a great find.

    Maybe not like finding a nice Mosin (I have more Mosin Nagants than .22s) but still something fun. And I like the Texas connection. (-:}

    I wish I had a Mosin to trade you for it.

    It would have to be a pretty special Mosin! (-:}

    How did Kleinguenther "modify" these rifles? They were always purely German products as far as I knew.

    Nice find, by the way.

    As far as I know it was mostly stock work. Supposedly he pillar bedded them and a few other tweaks. They were supposed to be pretty accurate when he got done with them. Trigger may have been his design too. I know he had more input on the center fire rifles than the Rf. Not a whole lot of info out there about them, at least not that I've found.

    The K-15 Instafire that my Brother had was an action that Bob made. That 7 Rem. Mag. was a real nail driver with good handloads of mine. Bob guaranteed that his rifles would shoot 1" or less with factory ammo at 100 yds as they came out of his Seguin shop.Robert

    Looks like my Voere 22. Don’t lose the magazine! Mine has the double set triggers and rosewood fore end like yours. A gem for sure. Mines in 22 mag.

    When Mauser bought Voere that rifle became the Mauser 201 and a much higher price tag.
