    What mold is this????

I'm trying to figure out what mold this is.
Screw holes are damaged, so until I fix it, don't know exact boolet dimensions.
    Seems to be .356 di.
Spruse plate may not be for this mold.
    Numbers have been stamped over.
It looks like 5 C ?, but can't be sure.
    Any ideas????

it's a Saeco 3 cavity mold and all parts present are for it. can't tell what caliber but, from the picture I'll guess .380 or 9mm.

Suggestion: send it to Eric at hollow point mold .com for repair, his turn around time used to be a week or less and price's are very fair.

Fixed it up and cast a few boolets.
    355-358di, 127gr.
Seems to have been banged up a little.

Don't keep us in suspense. What is the backstory?

So I PC'd them to get the diameter up to 357.
Loaded up with HS6 powder. It turned out to be the best load with the other boolets. Lee TC
    Didn't work as well.
I think I may have seated them deeper that the TC.
The round nose solved the feeding problem.

Mold seems to have liver a hard life.
It looks OK, but has problems.
Missing the screw that hold the handles to it.
Boolets are kind of oblong. Not evenly round.
Boolets just don't drop from the mold.
I sent a email to Redding to see if i could get the screws.
Anyone know of someplace that might have them???

Take the mold with you to the hardware store. You can get a roll pin and a set screw to fix the screws for the mold handle.
The hardware guy can help with the screw size.

I did this with a H&G 4 cavity mold. The handle screw heads protruded from the bottom of the mold and using roll pins and set screws fixed that little problem.

That's pretty much what I did.
Got some screws that would get it back in working order.
Screw head and screw thread sticking out of the bottom.
The thread is an easy fix.
To fix the head, I'll need to find a steel rod of the correct size.
Thread a little on one end, and slot the other.
They didn't have much steel rods.
Also need to find a wave washer.
