Made mistake with 22 Shorts

CCI calls them "22 Long CB caps", looks like "CCI0038" is the part number; that's all I've used but that gives you an idea of what to look for. Can't see the box I have near to hand, things are a bit of a mess here but that will find you the right thing. Low velocity but clear rifle barrels nicely and will poke holes in things, just not enough "oomph" to kill anything large.

The long caps use the 22lr case.

Always clean your chamber after using shorts before using longs or long rifle rounds has been known for decades.

I shoot CCI 22 CB Shorts out of my Henry in the backyard. In my rifle at least, they are the cleanest ammo I have ever tried and accurate as anything else out to 25 yards or so.

I use a 22 cal tornado brush in my 617, eliminates crud very quickly. NEVER use that brush for the barrel as it will not be gentile on rifling.
