Sling suggestions

Need a sling for my new 1894 Winchester take down. I can install a stud in the butt stock but no where to mount a barrel or magazine tube ring because the mag tube is full length and it unscrews to facilitate the take down function.
Suggestions are appreciated.

I went through the same thing. I found a gunsmith that was modifying winchester bands with swivel studs. Shootz and latters I think was the name, out of Ny. Found them on Facebook. I fitted the band to be tighter as it was a touch loose, then had it reblued. It works well.

I want to have my original band fitted for a stud, as it fits better though. Thinking about doing it myself. Uncle mikes makes a kit for that with a short shank stud. Drill and tap your band and install the stud then peen over the end so it don't turn out.

I'm told marlin 336 bands will fit winchester 94s but I never tried mine as the marlin takes a bigger screw and you have to open the screw slot on the barrel to accept it. Then you can't go back.
