Magma Master Caster dividing the bullets and sprues

What is the trick to getting these master casters to separate bullets and sprues well?

I end up with 2 trays about half full of each.

    Are yours any better?

Mine mixes them up too, i don't get loads of sprues in the projectile bin at least.

One thing that will help is to watch what it's doing, see where they are going, do they fly straight off the sprue cutter and into the projectile section? if so, you may need to bend the divider plate that directs the sprues to one side and the projectiles in the other. A little more lead helps keep the two sections together as well, they seem to direct into the bin better.

They could be flung off and bouncing back, not a lot you can really do about that, without the cage, they go everywhere

Spend some time looking at how they are coming off and going into the projectile bin section, then you have a better idea of how to come to a solution.

    HAPPY CASTING

The ramps on the left and right of the frame act on the levers that open the mold. These can be adjusted using shims to open the mold a little later. This wil allow the sprue to slide off before the mold opens fully to drop the bullet. Might help.
