I would see all the very cool attachments available for the AR15 and be jealous I couldn't have them for my beloved m/96 Swede. I was especially enamored with the buttstock monopod. I thought how cool was that... So I sat and thought about it, looked and studied and tried to figure it out.
I had ordered a piece of brass bar stock for the locking ring so it wasn't in this picture.
The black material is delrin. It was the heart of the monopod as it contacts the stock and positions the angle. Is it perfect? No but it ain't far off. Functionally it is perfect. It works great. I think the angle needs to be tweeked just a tiny bit. The green material is nylon impregnated with molybdenum disulfide. Its a bearing material. Had it so I used it.
