Father, Charlie is a faithful follower of Yours. You know that he is having surgery on Tuesday and I am praying for comfort and healing for him. Prayers for you Charlie, swift and complete recovery. I have one question though; what the dickens is a "reverse shoulder surgery". I was an Anesthesiologist for over 40 years and I don't recall that surgery. I'll guess it's a surgery to reverse a previous shoulder repair. At any rate, comply with the post surgery physical therapy treatments (torture) and you will be fine. Had a complete shoulder restoration about 10 years ago so I know what you will be going through. Again Praying for you Charlie.
The surgeon reverses the ball and socket putting the socket on the end of your arm bone (humerus) if the joint is too deteriorated . Therefore reversing the joint itself . This is a pretty good video showing how it's done except the guy does too much talking .

Been mowing , shampooing carpets , grocery shopping , getting the dogs their shots , cooking food and putting it up in the freezer with the food saver . Trying to get all the 'two' handed jobs out of the way that I can . lol , my doctor said I couldn't drive till I get my 'immobilizer' off . But they told me the same thing with an ankle fusion and knee replacement .
