wish more people would start with a quality powder like smoke sells in stead of harbor frieght, there would be a lot more happy powder coaters.

I cast a bunch of Lee 358-125 RF today and coated them with Smokes Transparent Copper.
The only Boolits I don't coat is for BP loads and I may try that to bring the Dia up to fit better.

Well I am not happy (LOL). I am planning on putting my old Lyman 450 Lube/sizer up for sale and I just lost another potential customer. At this rate I may have to pay someone to take it, because once hooked, you never go back.

If you did it right once you can do it every time. If they look good and were fully cured, they will shoot fine. At handgun ranges you can expect excellent accuracy, but as with any cartridge you have to do your part in finding the best combination of components. Then assemble them the way the firearm likes it; sounds easy.

Just keep an eye on the humidity. the higher the humidity the harder you have to work to get good results.

Make sure powder is 100% dry
Warm the boolits (I put them on top of a countertop oven) if you can't handle them barehanded wait until you can before putting them in the powder.

several years ago I dumped a bunch of hot boolits into an ASBBDT bowl (trying to make HF RED work better) and ended up with a mess. had to throw everything away.

If you decide to post pictures, this is a step by step way to do it easily

Just wait until you start mixing colors to create custom ones. Some you'll like....some you'll hate but its fun to play for sure.

I haven't been doing it for very long but I have a leftover "misc" color bag from the residue powders left in the #5 container. It should be interesting what color that menagerie creates. (I'm not expecting much...except protection for my bore...hahaha)
