I like to think outside the box...…...

When I want an off-beat medallion, I cruise the jewelry counters of a few second-hand shops, looking for a perfectly round fashion accessory (cufflinks, tie tacks, earrings, etc) in the diameter I want/need.

Using a silver coin is another option - I used a US Indian Head Penny on a rifle in .250 Savage, that looks like it grew there.

I have also converted a woman's broach from one store into a grip cap for a knife I re-handled

Now I lay me down to sleep

Have you considered a jeweler, a brass, german silver or gold medallion with you dad's initials,or your own.

I did think about a jeweler a while back, but I guess I'm a little on the cheap side.lol. I ordered me a 1929 dime off Ebay for 3.95,and plan to use it for now.The gun does have a little area on the butt plate for initials, and E.F.M.is in it..I guess I will never know who E.F.M is.

Yea,but Elroy is just my sight name.In real life its C.W..If it just had the E,and the F I could claim it once belonged to Elmer Fudd, and it would be a rare collectors item because most of his guns didnt survive due to accidents such as smart alek rabbits blowing them up,and tying knots in them, and such. That Bugs sure is one waskley wabbit..LOL
