    Got my mold in the mail! It looks very nice, but have not had a chance to use it. Will have to fix that in a few days. Will post afterwards...

    Any good tips on breaking in Aluminum molds? Never done it before, but...

    MP has a good explanation on his site for brass, all the same applies for aluminum: https://mp-molds.com/tips-tricks/70-...w-point-moulds

    A good cleaning with dish soap and water to all parts will remove majority of the oils, then heat cycle a few times. If you have a "easy-bake" PC/hitek oven, put it in a heat to 400-ish for 30 min to burn off remainder of oil. let cool then go again. Begin using

    Alternate, but faster process is to cast out of the box. You'll get wrinkled boolits for the first several hundred, but its practice for handling the mold. Probably about the same amount of time to good boolits as the proper procedure, but I feel like I'm doing more, than watching the oven...
