    358477 Safety check

    need a safety check on this load I loaded up 100 of 38 special boolits 358477 with 4.2 gr of Bullseye is this over max
    I see some data that suggest it might be looking to shoot them out of a 3" Ruger Sp 101

    Will be OK in Ruger SP101.

    Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook 4th Edition (2010) doesn't list data for this bullet, but on p. 256 has #358156 155-grain, linotype at 1.46" OAL showing 4 grains of Bullseye for 858 fps @ 16,000 and 4.4 grains as +P at 915 fps and 18,100 cup.

    I was looking at loads for a similar bullet then kinda got a bad feeling so better safe then sorry
    I never like to run right at max my next batch will not be as hot

    As stated above... or in 357 brass, 4th edition 357 Mag data Lyman 358477 over 4.6 to 7.0 of BE with a 1.510 oal
