What do you folks think of the article in American Hunter on hunting cape buffalo with a 45-70 Marlin?
I don't think that I would have told that story to the world about my poor shooting.
If he had been shooting a larger caliber, would his *** end shots have penetrated far enough?
Sounds like it had enough penetration for side shots.
Is there a link to the article? There’s an article about a successful hunt with a .45-70 and I think it was Cape buffalo or a wilderbeast. He was using home cast boolits and I’m sure not loaded to government pressures.
The article was in the magazine. I don't know if they have it online.
