Hi guys
I cant seem to get a post typed quick enough with our computer problems lately before I have to log back in. Is there a setting? How much time does the site allow?
thanks

On my machine Cast Boolits stays logged in until I log out. If I exit without logging out and come back later (days) I'm still logged in. It must be your machine and how it's set up.Gp
When I decide to reply to a post, I type my response in a word document and then high-lite and copy to the Quick Reply space at the bottom of the thread. Doing it this way also allows me to proof read and correct my post.

When I log in there is a check-box that asked if I want to stay logged in. (Remember Me) Maybe your browser has a setting that is messing things up.
Try doing a CNTL-SHFT-DEL in your browser...it should then ask about clearing all the cache....select everything (that you want cleared)...and choose "For all time" (if asked)...then clear it.
Now restart your browser and try to log back in making sure you have the "Remember Me" box is checked.

The time out is in your device or browser coupled with a slow connection.
I have fibre optic and time out failure to load only happens when the website I connect to is slow to reply and send data.
The faster your service, the fewer time outs.
Go now and pour yourself a hot one...
Thanks guys! I will look into it.
Mine lets me stay logged in for as long as I like but I have a time limit on making a reply to a thread.
A little off topic but my computer says this site is Not Secure.
I don't remember seeing that last year. Should we be worried?
Here's a graphic from this link Guru99's HTTPS graphic:
Basically the "S" at the end of a site's "HTTP" web address is protocol for the hack-free transmission of financial and personal data over the WWW. Is there a need for "security" in the transmission of data to and from Castboolits? Not really,. We're posting for all to see anyway, so having a secure web address isn't necessary here.
If it was easy, anybody could do it.
Sounds like a slow connection.
Just clicking remember me made every thing work better! thanks guys
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.
