Ya know, its almost like my sizing die sizes the necks of my casings too small, even after flaring, to take the .429 bullets and causes a bulge in the neck

You using these dies ?

I know that a lot of folks poo-poo them, but f find they produce perfect(ly) easy loading sessions.
And with the thin necks of 44-40 brass, seating/crimping should be almost no effort at all.
No I just have a standard set of Lee and also a standard set of RCBS dies
If it fits then Load em and shoot them. If you get lots leading then go from there. If leading is non existent or very minimal enjoy shooting.
Some times you be surprised how it plays out with your load and bullet selection.
Just me$.02 worth.
