WTS an unfinished sporter stock for a large ring standard length Mauser 98 rifle. Got this stock in a lot of stocks I bought quite some time ago and have decided I will probably never use it. (Although I do like Mausers!)
I think it is a Richards Microfit classic. I don't think it is American Walnut but looks to be some sort of walnut. In one pic I wet the wood so you can see potential color and the grain. It is well shaped on the outside but the inletting certainly needs some work. It is definately not a press fit. It has a Weatherby marked recoil pad and the trigger guard inletting is for a commercial length guard (easily expanded for the military version).
