    Buffalo arms bullet mould handles

I just had a look at the latest news letter from buffalo arms, while there I went for a wander and came across some odd looking mould handles call Aluminum mould holders, I was wondering if anybody has used them and what are they like.

I have never used them, but have looked at the pic several times. My only concern would be a good place to tap to get the bullets to drop out of a stubborn mould.

I bought a set a few years ago, pretty handy when bottom pouring, using a bit of pressure, and avoiding the dreaded finned boolit.
They stay closed like a vise grip plier, the turnbuckle allows adjustment.

It looks like it might be a better mouse trap. I might spring for one set to try.

I use the locking handles and really like them Ive got 2 sets of the originals and one set of the "new style. Mine are the steel version and do a great job. I tap on the pin in the solid bar side. Usually when I "snap" them open the light vibration drops the bullets. I did fit a small dia wood handle to the rod to aid flicking them open with my fingers.
