Well my buddy sprung on me that we are going shooting soon and I don't have anything to test out of my 44-40 guns!
I believe I read where the bores and chambers for the Uberti 44-40 were the same as the 44 Specials to cut down on cost, so .429? What would be the best size boolits to try, .431?
Does anyone have a couple handfuls to let me try for a small fee?
You should really slug the barrel or do a chamber cast /pound cast and find out exactly what it needs.
