    (1) 1972 Marlin 336 in 35 Remington.
Nice wood grain.Very nice metal finish. Some handling marks on stocks. Perfect bore. Not fired very much. Weaver 2 piece scope mounts.

This rifle has been fired very little. I bought it new, and the marks it has are from safe handling etc. I totally forgot that I set it up with a XS Sight Systems Ghost Ring System. The weaver bases are for removable scope mounts. The buckhorn sight was removed and plug installed. The rear XS peep ghost ring site is their removable return to zero with their front sight.

$410 plus actual shipping costs to your FFL.

Sorry everybody. Aside from being real busy, the power has been going down here off and on. I just learned today my stash of packing materials has gotten thrown out. So I'm at a standstill for the moment. Why this happens when I go to sell something I don't know.

I figure it's that Murphy character (aka Finagle, that "god of engineers" fella.) He's a pain in the hindquarters, isn't he?

Pat, does this mean that you just have to get more packing supplies, or are you withdrawing them for sale? I finally was able to find an FFL dealer that will accept shipment from you like you required. Sent you a pm after the first one. I will buy that 35 with the bases. I'll even wait till you can get more packing supplies. In the last PM I sent was letting you know that all the FFL on my end needed was a copy of your DL, and an email address. Not sure if you got my PM as there was no reply back.

Let me know please. I will buy that rifle if its still for sale.

Want everyone to know I'm not avoiding anyone and forgive me for not answering PMs.

Our Utilities company has had power outages and no one can explain why. So I will get back to everyone as soon as possible.

I guess folks have seen the news about the recent rounds of wildfires in Cali. The fire departments are being VERY proactive. PG&E (electricity provider) has been killing power in areas in and around the fires at the request of the fire marshals. This may explain Pat's problem. The folks fighting the fires appear to be staying level with the fires so far in the face of the Santa Ana's. I saw a homeowner complaining about no power for powering their home well. The next shot was of an air tanker dousing the side of a hill and ground crews pulling burning brush apart with hand tools wearing full gear at over 100degF.

A bit of delay seems ......

    Update....

I need to LEAVE California. PG&E is shutting off power whenever they feel like it and it is somehow related to last summers fires.

Anyway, The Winchester Commemorative is back on the market. I had it way undervalued and it's still worth a lot more than what the price is but I will part with it for that.

Waiting to hear back on the last 2 marlins for tentative sales. No final sale set in stone yet.

Sorry for the mixups. I starting to get better at listing firearms for sale here.

Please PM with any questions and more photos if desired.

    Thanks,

    Pat
