Can't help your on the Rose Gun Works but it certainly is a nice looking rifle! Love the lines of it and .40 is a a good caliber - doesn't qualify for many state's primitive hunts but a great caliber for tree rats and critters and general shooting. Years ago, I had a .36 nd my brother had a .40. it was interesting on how his .40 had it over my .36 when shooting at long distances as well as inn shooting with crosswinds - just enough extra weight that he could always out shoot me.
Hope somebody knows something about the Rose Gun Works - I've never run across one in 55 years. Enjoy that rifle!
