    .380 acp 95gr cast bullet load ?

I recently purchased some cast 95gr .380 bullets from brazos bullets. Have been searching my manuals for a loading for it and consulting some other fellow loaders. seems to be the sweet spot with powder is hp38(w231) 3.0 - 3.5gr col .970 or unique loaded from 3.0-4.0 gr 0.970. does anyone have anyloads they recommend for a 95gr cast .380 acp bullet? have hp38,cfe pistol, tite group , unique and true blue to work with.

    Thanks in advance

Cfe pistol has become my favorite for 380 and 45 acp. Excellent velocity, mild recoil pulse and almost no muzzle flash, even in my tcp. I pc the lee 95 grain rf (actually 98 grains or so) and used hodgdons data for 95 grain jacketed. The 4.2 max load chrono'd 930 in my tcp, and over 1100 in my wifes Walther.

I don't have any of those powders. I use Red Dot or Promo at 2grains with the Lee 95RF. Hope it helps

I have used 2.5 gr Bullseye or Red Dot, interchangeably, with a cast Lee 95 gr boolit. Any loading manual should give you lots of choices. I have also used 2.o gr Red Dot with the 121 gr Lee round nose boolit, which is rather stiff recoil in a compact 380, but still okay to handle.

I have two .380's - Bersa Thunder 380 and S&W M&P 380 bodyguard. I like Titegroup for the .380. I've never loaded a cast boolit in either one. I shoot plated bullets in both. They both shoot decently with a 100 gr. plated bullet over 2.6 gr. of Titegroup.

I run the same charge as mac60. 2.6gr of Titegroup under the Lee 95RF is the load that my CZ83 likes best

Cfe has been my fav powder in 9mm, .38sp and .38sp +p. It has no muzzle flash thats for sure and I am def going to have to try it when my bullets come in.

going to be fun working up loads for this caliber so many people have different preferences but w231 is going to be used also for sure.

Win 231, unique, bulseye, and red dot all work great under a cast boolit in .380.

Red dot and bulseye are pretty interchangeable and are my first choice in this cartridge.
