Commercial Coated 300 BLK heavy bullets (AKA Bolts) for subsonic loads?

Any commercial casters other than Missouri Bullets producing heavy 30 cal bullets (coated) for loading subsonic in 300 Blackout?

Edit: When I typed "boolits" my auto spell correct changed it to bolts. Sorry guys.

Gallant bullets has three weights of heavies sized to .310. I tried their 220 grain boat tails and 225 grain plain base. The 225s shot much better for me. I shot them subsonic in a x39 AR, not a 300BO.

Thanks for the replies. I was not aware of either one of these companies.

Gallant is running a memorial weekend sale, 10% off everything, Memorial-2019 is the code.

Good luck! Their boat tails didn't shoot well for me, but the plain base 225s were a different story.

This might sound dumb but, you know you can cast your own right?

If I were going to cast my own, I would buy this mold: http://noebulletmolds.com/NV/product...oducts_id=4683

However, I doubt if I will fire enough rounds to justify it. If I were younger and in better physical condition, sure I would. This 300 BLK will be for a bucket list wild pig hunt in Texas.

Well I guess that’s smart. I tooled up to cast and shoot 32-20 but I should’ve just skipped it as I never shoot that gun anyway (it’s 120 yrs old)

That may be a good bullet for target work, but for hunting a bigger flat nose (meplat), preferably with cup or hollow point option is needed. The NOE 311-242-FN Looks good. I would like to try some of those.

Another question: I have never loaded cast in a bottleneck cartridge, that I recall. How do you flair the neck enough to not scrape lead when you seat the bullets. Years ago, I had 9X25 Dillon dies and they did not work worth a **** with jacketed. I can't imagine trying cast with those. Seem to recall I used a separate 9mm die to flair the necks. How do you 300 Blackout shooters do it with cast?

For my x39AR, I use a Lee universal expander die first before seating the bullet. I imagine it's a similar process for 300BO.

This sounds like it will be just what I'm looking for. Thanks much.

Edit: Just ordered Redding 2 die set and the Lee universal expander die.

NOE has caliber-specific case mouth/neck expander dies

http://noebulletmolds.com/NV/index.php?cPath=565 it's used with the Lee universal expander die.

It flares the case mouth and enlarges the case neck

Acme Bullet has 245gr and 265gr coated, I have been thinking about getting some of the 265gr to play with.

I should have asked this before. Does anyone know if these flat nosed 240-265 gr boolits will expand any on pigs at subsonic speed?
