I see MANY recipes - MANY - but I would like to make some plain old NRA 50/50 loob. I have the beeswax and a couple containers of ALOX, and would like some guidance on putting it together, as I am about out of commercial loob sticks. HELP!

One of the most endearing sights in the world is the vision of a naked good-looking woman leaving the bedroom to make breakfast. Bolivar Shagnasty (I believe that Lazarus Long also said it, but I can't find any record of it.)
I think you just melt together in double boiler. I use 1 inch pvc that is cut lengthwise down one side use washer to cover one end with bolt through center and electrical tape to seal the side and hold the washer and bolt in place. Just pour in melted lube let harden remove tape if it doesn't push right out use screwdriver in slot cut lengthwise to pry open a little and just push out remove bolt and you have sticks ready to go.
