Bore rider design loading question

Boolit is a MIHEC NATO 227 65 grain

Is this design a bore rider ( on the ridges) on the front and engage the full bore on the tail & GC?

Does this design generally get loaded with a portion overlapping the lands? Using a few dummy cartridges with sharpie on the front, I can tell it touches the rifling, but doesn’t engage. It will freely eject. This is on both a mil spec and a Wilde chamber barrel.

I have the 75 grain version and mine it is a bore rider. The nose of mine just barely touches the rifling. Mine is a little longer than yours and I load to magazine length. I can single load them with the boolit a little farther out. Im just using them as 25yard paper punchers to get practice with the AR's. Seem to be nice and fairly accurate when the rifle is rested tho.
