Use a heat gun to heat the grease gun, should slip right out.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!

Never thought about using a heat gun to heat up the barrel of the grease gun. Gotta try it before I perform surgery on what remains of the grease cartridge. Was a moly grease cartridge by the way. Thanks,Frank

Got the grease gun cartridge out. Stuck a long carving knife in the end where the plunger goes and lifted one edge and with another long shank screw driver managed to pretty well collapse the tube and vise grips at the other end and out it came. No rust or corrosion in the tube or barrel but gave it a good cleaning. The grease gun is a alemite one which up until now has worked great and made in the U.S.A. Frank

Thanks for all the suggestions and comments. And the chinese grease gun goes back to Lowe's in the morning. Cost me two tubes of grease as the rubber plunger kept getting stuck on the edge of the tube. Would only pump air after that. The little pressure relief valve would bleed off the air and little grease. Kubota uses heavy cardboard for the tubes and once the edge gets mangled the plunger won't go into the tube. Good thing I had an extra tube of high pressure moly lube and it's in a plastic tube. Went right in and stuck it in my old alemite grease gun. thanks again. Frank
