    My first Accurate Mould

This may be the wrong place for this post.
I just received my first Accurate mould, a 38-250GB. It is a three cavity aluminum , but that is not relevant to the post. It came to me with the sprue plate edges deburred and the blocks done the same. I do that to all my moulds, but this is the first one I have ever received ready to cast. This will not be my last Accurate mould.

they're great molds and I love how easy it is to get a slight change to a design. I've got a copy of the Lyman 314299 mold (I think Accurate lists it as the 31-200L), and I'm seriously thinking of getting another version plain based to try out.

Since buying my 1st Lee 6cav mold 3 years ago.
I have taken to polishing the sprue plate of every mold I buy. New or Used. Breaking every edge.

I use 400grit stapled tight to a soft wood block, I cut the paper about 1/4" over the edge of the wood.
Nitrile gloves and a old rag dish towel on my chest works great when watching TV.

I also polish the tops of any new/used molds when I get them.

I bought an older Saur& Son drilling in 8x57JR with a .318 groove. I was able to take a chamber cast and send a pic to Tom and get his opinion on the changes to an existing mold. It turned out great.

I received my first one a few months ago. The workmanship is beautiful and it cast well right at the beginning. Tom's turn around time was quicker than he quoted also. I'm a fan too!

Great molds that are beautifully made, for sure. The variety in the design catalog is mind boggling, as is the fact that you can work with Tom on a custom design.

The one thing I could wish for is more cavities, since I go through a lot of boolits shooting action pistol.

Yes, Accurate Molds and Tom are top notch!!! Sent in another design brain child and it has made it to the catalog as 32-218B for 32-40 Winchester and 32 Winchester Special.

I love it that the sprue plate comes with a hole that uses the Lee sprue plate handle. That makes it way better than using a mallet to cut the sprues.
