    XrF analysis needed

I have the need for an XrF analysis of an ingot, so I can sell some of my stash of COWW ingots from a single batch here on CB to raise some needed money. I want the analysis, as I think it will help greatly. If someone can do such, or you can recommend someone, please let me know. I did search CB, and finding one "name", I contacted that person, but no response.

The nearest junkyard to me is rather close to 100 miles away.

    Thanks.

There is a member here, BNE who will analyze your lead. I believe he asks for 1 lb. of lead in payment for his service. I haven't used his service but many have from what I've read. I would give him a search and a PM.

Also Rotometals which is a sponsor here will test alloy and send you the results.

I just checked Rotometals and they want $45.00 for a XrF analysis. In this case, I cannot afford that.

I'll try BNE again, I sent a PM a week ago and have not heard back.

    Thanks.

I've used BNE a few times. He usually answers PM's fairly quickly and has a fast turn around time. But he does this mostly as a service to the members here and has to work around his job and family. I'm sure he will answer you when he gets the chance.

BNE is the person you want. A really good person to work with in my own experience. My impression, though, is that he is much in demand, and, as lightman says, he fits this service into a full schedule, so just try again and I'm sure he will respond.

BNE sent me a most gracious and nice PM. I very much regretted even mentioning that I had not heard from him on this public forum as his reputation is so great. However, it all worked out, and gave us the opportunity to tell him how much he is appreciated. A very good happenstance after all...

    Thanks to all.

BNE is a very stand up guy, he tested three batches of metal for me a while back and I am very happy with how he conducts business. You can't go wrong.
