I remember those. They were from I was mowing yards for $3. to buy them.
And that was when 7-11 sold a bag of 100 BBs for 5 cents...… even to 12-13 yr. old kids.

Never had the CO2 type pelletguns. Couple buddies did back then , but all I had was a Daisy Red Ryder & Crosman pump.

Good nostalgia & memories of those days though.

    Thanks for sharing your find(s)!

It used to be a big firecracker.

Like many other things now days, they're all wimped out.

You could empty the powder into a empty CO2 cylinder and make a pretty good toy cannon.

I had a Crosman 180 which was a .22 caliber co2 air rifle. It was a lot of fun, but pellets and co2 cartridges were a lot more expensive then when you factor inflation. Now we can buy .22 pellets for less than $10 for a tin of 500, and co2 cartridges for $20 for a box of 40. In today's dollars, that's a bargain. Both the pellets and the co2 cartridges are better now too, which is not true of most things.

The CO2 cartridges cost too much for me as a kid. BBs were bad enough at 10 cents per tube.
