I do not have this mould , but can offer what may be of help to you, as I was in a similar situation a while back, with a Redding/SAECO "mystery mould". I emailed their tech support -- form is at https://www.redding-reloading.com/21...e/new-products -- and rang them at (607) 753-3331. The latter was indeed most successful, in my getting a most helpful gent on line who was "at a loss" re the mould number I provided, other than his commenting it must be an old one. However, much to my pleasant surprise, after a very few minutes on hold as he researched it -- he indicated in (I forgot the year) they changed numbers -- he provided quite a wealth of information.
    BEST!

    Thank you, Geo...

As stated in my OP, there is not much information on the web....
And most of that is here in the archives.

But I had not thought of contacting them, thank you again!

My best guess looking at the nose and the big square bottom lube groove would be 44-40. Drop a couple and see what the diameter comes out. The other obvious use with proper sizing would be 44 mag.

I have 4 Saeco 4 cavity molds that I acquired in the '80s from Paul Jones. The sprue plate on all 4 pivots in the middle rather than on the end like the 443 in your photo. This makes me think that your mold pre-dates mine (before 1980).

It's a nice looking mold & I like the design.

    Henry:
Apologies for hijacking the thread but I also bough 2 SAECO (Carpenteria CA) moulds from Paul Jones in the 80"s. He said he was dying of cancer and was selling everything out.
These are 4 cavity 45 acp bb moulds. Don't have the numbers in front of me but they were new in the box.
From what I know, Jones was the West Coast distributor for Star presses, and he had SAECO make him a bunch of these moulds for his personal collection.
Mine have gorgeous Rosewood handles on them and they cast ALMOST as good as my H&G moulds.
Collector and shooter of guns and other items that require a tax stamp, Lead and brass scrounger. Never too much brass, lead or components in inventory! Always looking to win beauty contests with my reloads.
