xbeeman 410 gave me a call about an hour ago . He told me he had received several encouraging pm's today . He's haveing problems using his computer due to a loss of sight . He wanted me to thank all and that he appreciated all the messages he was sent . Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers .

I just came to he Chapel to bump this thread back up and xbeeman has posted or had it done . There is still need for intercession for our brother . Please keep him and his family in prayer . Message him if you can , he may not be able to return them right now but I'm sure he will in time . Thank each and everyone of you that encourage him .

xbeeman, depression is like the fellow who had dug himself into a 10 foot deep hole not realizing that the metal detector signal he was following was from the steel toes in his boots. Is is so easy to keep dwelling on the same circular string of thought. How do I know this? I've been battling that demon myself since February of last year when I lost my wife, the light of my life and mother of my children. I admit that there are some days that life ain't worth the living. I keep going back to John 5,6-9 : would thou be made whole? I would Lord, the mental, the physical, and the spiritual. Things are slowly getting better in His time. I have two wonderful kids, the people here, and the folks in my community for support. It will be OK over time, so will it be for you. Praying for you brother. GW

Father, Please be with Charles and his better half as he navigates the choppy waters of healing. Give them comfort as well as the path they must take to improve Charles' health. Father, You are the Great Healer and I pray that You restore Charles health. AMEN

Prayers sent. I know your situation because I to suffer from depression. I laid in bed for 5 years before I got some relief. First ask around and find the best mental health you can. I had to change doctors with totally different medicines before I starting getting better. The first was well respected but he seemed entrenched in the medicines he prescribed.
Try to find something you like to do within a group of people. While your mind is occupied you will not be thinking negatively.

Just spoke to Charles he is in good spirit. His phone is back up and runing. I'll let him tell that story.

I'm not much on relaying secound hand info but if I understood correctly....they know what is causing his version isues and they are developing a plan to treat it

Charles we are still praying for you and your family every day. Mary was in hospital Thursday night with stomach virus. Spent much of that time praying for you and her. Keep holding the Lord's robe he heals.

Just talked to Charles . He sounds better . Waiting for test results on his eyes , blood sugar is fluctuating too much . He still needs your prayers . He thanks you for your prayers and concern . If your messaging him (hope you are) he has trouble returning them but can have them read to him .
Please lift him up in your prayers . In these situations where distance is a barrier for us it is not for our Lord .

Lord be with Charles in this hard time . Help his family through his troubles . Lift him up through your healing Lord and bring him back here with us . Thank you for all you do . Amen

Charles is home from the hospital now. He is taking the meds for what is probably wrong with his eye while waiting for test results.
We had a nice chat on the phone.
