    Thanks to all.

    I've been opening up flash holes for a little while now based on Larry's experience in cast and then jacketed bullet loads in rifles. Had not thought about doing it in pistols too. Good info.

    Some of this might also explain why some of my older loads would show flattened primers when there was far less than max pressure.

    Just confused on why this isn't a sticky.

    I know this info is here, just have a hard time finding it when I'm told that "you're going to shoot your eye out with that thing!" when I talk about drilled flash holes.


    Anybody else vote for sticky?
