Anybody using 2400 in 300 blk?

I know H110 and 4227 seem to be the defaults for 300 blackout, but I've got 8lbs. of 2400 that I use for the rest of my cast rifle loads and was wondering if anybody has experimented with it in 300 blk?

    I've tested a few with 2400.
It cycles fine, has reasonable velocity averages, basically the only thing I did not like was the slightly lower velocities it produced.
In a 16" barrel 135gr jacketed stuff was averaging 1866fps and 150gr jacketed stuff was averaging 1657fps.
It also did fine with 220gr jacketed but I don't remember the data or velocity averages.

Like most powders, your mileage may vary. It is a good powder for the 300BO, but may not meet your needs. You need to give it a try and see how it works for you.
