Does anybody here shoot backrest prone? I know that with the rule changes a few years back and allowing the use of cross sticks for BP matches they say the backrest prone went away... Try as I might, I personally can't shoot conventional prone, too much damage in my younger years to neck and back - someone once told me about a sling used in the backrest position - I'm looking for details on this. I've done the backrest before but it never felt comfortable, I'm told the sling improves this a tiny bit.
