    It isn't the biggest ever....

But my son called me and asked me to meet him at some private ponds that he has, and I had, a membership in. It's the best one I've caught since I had my surgery. That may be because I don't go like I used to any more.

That size we'll put back I seldom kill any fish unless I'm fishing on the Lake. However, we may go to the first pond and get some of those smaller ones out and have a fish fry, along with any nice bream that happen to bite. It seems that it's full of stunted bass. None seem to be over a foot long....

When i go fishing the joy is in the going especially with your sun. And that looks pretty tasty. Enjoy.

Fishing, shooting, handloading and casting boolits keeps me going. I live 1 block from the Chattahoochee river, but I really prefer ponds and lakes. When Lori and I go for a drive I'm always looking and drooling at the ponds in the area.....But I've been fishing since I was old enough to walk......

Here all of the pond fish are clean, sweet and fiesty. And just wait until you catch a 22 pound grass carp on a 7wt. fly rod with a 4 pound leader..... The last one took me 72 timed minutes. About a week later my oldest son did the same thing.
