Are there any commonly available molds for a round-nosed flat point bullet with a crimp groove and gas check around 158 grains?

I use a Henry and have pretty good results with the Accurate Molds 36-160H. It is spot on and absolutely a joy to cast with. Pretty similar to Lymans 358665 that is beveled based and just a smidge smaller than my desired .358". As for gas checks, I have been fooling around with Sage's aluminum plain based checks with positive results using 36-200R from Accurate. I would expect results would be similar using the two mentioned bullets or possibly the Lee Six cavity 158 grn RNFP. I have had great luck with Lee six cavity molds if I am just goofing around with a cheaper mold.

I use the Lee group buy 180gr gc WFN and the Saeco #354 180gr fp gc , for full loads , and without gc installed for loads up to about 1,100 fps. in my Marlin carbine.
I have four 158 gr bullet moulds but none are gc, I usually use them in handguns along with some 180 gr bullets.
I've been very satisfied with the Arsenal 360-162RF in a Rossi '92. This is a PB design but I suspect Jared would cut at GC shank upon request. On the other hand, I powder coat and load over a heathly charge of 4227 with no leading and better than average accuracy: i.e. 2" groups @ 50 yds with factory sights.

You might try the Lee C358-200-RF. It is a bit heavy and long, but will work good loaded long in a 38sp case. Loaded long it will not chamber in any of my 38sp pistols.

For my Marlin the Lyman 358158 either GC'd or bare-bottom (shank removed) and the Lee 358-158-RF are winners. The 358156 loaded long in a 38 Spl case is also a favorite.
the Lee 358-158-RF works in a IMI Timberwolf 357 mag pump
My gas checked 357 moulds are the Noe SC357-135-RF-AZ2, Lee 358-158-SWC, Noe 360-180-WFN,Mihec MP C385-180RF and the Noe 360-200-FN I use these bullets in a Ruger 77-357, a 357 Handi rifle and a Ruger GP-100. The Noe 200gr. bullet needs to be loaded in 38spl cases for the Rugers but works well in the long throated Handi rifle. Of the moulds I've mentioned, I would recommend the 135 RF Noe for your application. Good luck and happy shooting. Gp
Second for the Lee 358-158-RF, runs like a dog in my Marlin, no problems.

I think NOE has a group buy going for a 360-160-WFN, that may be what you’re looking for.

It says on the NOE group buy plain base only.
The Accurate 36-160 is indeed exactly what I want...maybe I should just pay up and get it.
I am in on the Mihec hamer group by...with the big HP it should weigh 158.
Btw...I am looking for a cast equivalent for the Hornady 158XTP. I am getting incredible performance with 300mp. Like single digit deviations from shot to shot and 1875 fps average velocity.
You could send Veral Smith at LBT one of your. XTP Bullets and ask him to make a copy of it

Rcbs 158ggcswc or 180ggc sil boolit sized 358 shoot well in my win 94
Is LBT even in business?! Their catalog is from 2014...
Arsenal molds makes one 358-162 WFNGC. Thanks for that suggestion.
Accurate's 36-175B. Casts right at 180 gr with COWW & 2% tin. No gas check required and easy to push to 1700 fps with excellent accuracy and no leading with either lube or Hitech. I make them by the thousands and coat them with Hitech. There are several members at my local club shooting them in rifles out to 200 yds.
