Don't know about Winchester but Remington use to make a 710 and they were pretty inexpensive.

It could be something that Winchester is doing just for the Australian market because its not on their U.S. website.

At price I will leave it in Victoria because there’s a nice 760 going cheap close to home

a 710 is a remingturd, and most folks would advise you to avoid it.

The Remington 710/770 is no worse than a Savage Axis and just as ugly in my limited dealings with them. YMMV.

A Cooey .243? I’d like to see pics of that. I knew Cooey of Canada made bolt action .22s and single shot shotguns for Winchester.

Wow. I did and some of those prices are crazy. I paid $600 USD for a WALNUT Tikka T3 here.
I found that Winchester 710. True Winchester post 64 m70 pattern. Well worth 300 USD I don't know Australian currency.

Its a useful cartridge that gets criticized but most users just kill stuff dead with it, yours truly included. If it’s in good shape it’s worth the price. Post 64 m70’s are good rifles.
