I had four culls , mostly cosmetic, from the batch of Lee 358- 158 RF that I cast for my son yesterday, so I decided to try two to see if they'd pass the plunk test in my Ruger LC9s Pro. I flared four pieces of brass and without adjusting anything on my dies loaded two cartridges, sans powder or primer. They plunked just fine and I loaded them into my Magazine and cycled them. No sticking, no wedging the slide open, they just did like my current load. The boolits were sized to .358. I know from horrible past experiences that .358 won't feed in my CZ, but .357 will. I didn't feel up to changing the sizing die out and resizing the other two boolits, so that will be for another time. I suspect that they will work though. but I'm not going to shoot the 158 grain boolits from my 9mm's. I'll save up some funds and get the Lee 358-125 RF.
