Ruger makes a great 22LR semi-auto for trapline work if anyone can't handle an aluminum frame revolver from them

Every $40 Raven .25 auto I had back in the day would out shoot my Heritage. Really.

Why did you post it had a aluminum cylinder without really knowing?

I read the description on the Ruger site and it says in the specs that it had an alloy cylinder frame. I thought that meant both pieces(cylinder and frame).
    It seems I misunderstood.

I saw that. I wonder if the built in wind flags hanging from his beard helped?

Prediction, they'll sell quicker than did the '64 Ford Mustang.

Our well known gun writer and video reviewer also affirmed that a 22mag cylinder from a single six will indeed drop into the Wrangler.
Got a .22 .30 .32 .357 .38 .40 .41 .44 .45 .480 or .500 S&W cylinder that needs throats honed? 9mm, 10mm/40S&W, 45 ACP pistol barrel that won't "plunk" your handloads? 480 Ruger or 475 Linebaugh cylinder that needs the "step" reamed to 6° 30min chamfer? Well I placed an order for the all black one on Friday, had the 199.99 charge on my card. The charge dropped off over the weekend, but now it’s back pending on my bank account. So it may be shipping sooner than later.

I'm sorry I can't resist. Yes, my Heritage goes bang every time. Hole in target? Check. However, several of those holes will be KEY holes. And the target better be large and close. If the Heritage had adjustable sights it would drive me crazy trying to sight it in. Ruger will deliver, hide & watch.

I like my cheap little Rough Rider and all, even after the barrel came loose, but I sure like one thing about this new Ruger: I don't see any sign of a goof-ball safety!

Anyone know when these are really going to be available? What about a real world street price?
    I see preorders at $199-
    Thanks

    FWIW ...

    Hello rfd,

The grips for the Ruger Blackhawk should fit the Wrangler. You can see our selection of grips for that frame ....
