WTT . 45 Colts dies need UniFlow part .

    Short version .
I have 3 sets of 45 Colts carbide dies and want a steel set .
    1 as new RCBS .
1 RCBS set with 1,000 or so through it .
1 Lyman All American Deluxe black and blue box looks low mileage .

Any 1 set straight up for comparable set of STEEL 45 Colts or Schofield/S&W .

UniFlow parts and single die located via PM .
Dies still available and wanted .

Are you needing just a steel FL sizing die for 45 Colt? If it is just a steel FL die that you really need, I may have a steel Lyman FL 45 colt die IIRC. I'm still in AZ and won't be backing MI for another week and a half and I'd be happy to check if it is just the FL die you need.. . . . which would work for the Schofield as far as sizing. I have a set of Lyma AA 45 dies that I use for loading my 45 colt and I found a FL carbide die to replace the steel die. I think that I still have it so keep e in mind if nothing shows up that you need - if I still have it, it's just taking up space in my die cabinet.

I hadn't considered a single die but that would certainly do the job for my needs .

Called RCBS re: the Uniflow parts yet? I have a spare rod from a pistol cylinder I converted to micrometer, but the bushing and nut are still in use on the rifle cylinder. Thread is 3/8-32 which would be a custom size tap. I think RCBS might be willing to provide the replacement parts at minimal cost, given Uniflows are still in production.

Alternatively, do what I did: wait until the micrometer adjusters go on sale, and convert the cylinder. The micrometer replaces all the parts you are looking for.

I whole heartedly suggest calling RCBS for new parts, very strong chance they will be free under their lifetime warranty.Robert

I may have an RCBS steel sizer. If so, would you want to just swap the sizer straight across?
