Case prep is my least favorite. But my wife bought me the Lyman case prep express for my birthday... Looks like it's gonna help a bit.

    1x case prep . Although trimming runs a very close 2nd .
I think probably the part I hate worst is primer swage in 223/556 ....

That's an easy one.... Picking up brass off the floor at the range !

When you get old , fat and have a bad back and no good pain killers ...stooping over and picking up a bunch of little stuff (or big stuff) just about kills me !
I don't pick up penny's anymore...gotta be a at least a nickle . I can buy once fired 9mm Luger from the local range at such a cheap price I won't put myself through the misery of picking the stuff up off the floor.
    I mostly shoot revolvers now...even bought a 45 acp revolver ... I can't leave 45 acp brass on the floor...just can't do it !

Everything else I enjoy doing , little tedious jobs , I use as a sort of therapy... I enjoy all the little steps .

My sentiments also. Flash hole uniforming is tedious, but have seen it's benefits in rifle shooting. I will keep crimped primer brass off to the side until there is no other option, but a Super swager does make short work of it. Once I get started on either activity, it is gratifying to follow through and complete a batch.

Case prep, seating gas checks (I shoot mostly plain base). Lubing could be better, but I'm determined to use up my tube of Lee case lube.

Reloading. I am well over 350-360K rds over 40y. So reloading for me is just getting it done. The primer thing is not a big deal, I fill tubes watching the news, 90sec per tube. Then reload on my 550 or 650 depending on caliber. Bullet casting is far more enjoyable way top pass time for me.

I enjoy all aspects of reloading, though I'll admit some tasks are a bit more tedious than others. It's a hobby for me... If it gets to the point of not enjoying it any more, it I'll hang it up for something else.

Trimming and deburring small rifle brass. I don't mind on short action cases and up, but 223 is just annoying...

I love casting bullets and powder coating, but I find sizing 1,000 bullets tedious. I also consider case trimming tedious. So, I just put on some good music and have at it. Time flies when you’re having fun.
Due to the price of primers, warning shots will no longer be given!
