I piddle with reloading a little at a time. Every day or maybe every other, sometimes several times a day. I don't reload huge quantities so spreading it out makes it a lot of fun. If it starts getting like work, I take a break for a few hours. I enjoy reading all manner of gun stuff, so I'm just as likely to be reading about loading in my area than loading.

Trimming and chamfering cases is what I dislike more than anything.

For me, dealing with primer pocket crimps. I've tried about every method there is. The Dillon tool works ok but I get tired of readjusting it for different headstamps. My RCBS tool works ok but is tiring. My 45º countersink works everytime without adjustment but gets tiring. Crimped primer pockets just plain suck! I just about scrap crimped brass!

I also tired of trimming brass but my Giraud trimmer takes most of the work out of trimming.

My least favorite was sorting bullets after casting. A long slow process. Ive modified refined to now its more visual for small defects than weighing.

Trimming cases, hands down. WFT II makes it better, but still hate it.

Trimming and chamfering and lubing rifle cases even with a carbide die. Pain in the butt.

One of the benefits of having my rifles re-chambered to A.I. is that after the last trim that's it! At least so far, and it's been a number of years now....

Did I ever mention that I hate to trim brass?

Pecking primers with tubes. Bought Hornady prime tube filler and it works very well.

Just the other day I cut around ten grains each from some loaded 38-55 boolits so I wouldn’t have to pull them. I loaded them slightly hot so this was a way to reduce pressure. You might say I hate pulling bullets/boolits too!

One of the few who does not like to reload or cast. It is a means to an end....that being...quality but inexpensive ammunition.

I even reload 12 ga to save a $1 a box...but I can load about 20 boxes an hour so the savings are worth the time.

I do not find any of the processes and steps "fun". For me, it is like cutting grass. Some people have fun doing that but for most normal people it is a chore that needs doing. Could hire it out but too cheap to do that.

I read about folks who weigh every powder charge for pistol rounds and wonder...

But if I had to pick one aspect of reloading, it would be prepping military brass. Overall, the worst is reclaiming and smelting alloy.

I'ma other one for liking all the steps and always have - it's a good way to relax . . . from the ingot to the target . . . it's "all good".

I'm another one in that group as well. I need to stay busy or I get terribly bored, loading & all related activities keep that at bay.
