    38 super powder question

In my 1996 copyright Modern Reloading By Richard Lee under 38 super loads he lists Universal Clays as a powder for a few of the bullet weights listed . I have some h Universal powder ,not universal clays. Would this be the same powder ya think? Thanks

I'm using Hodgdon Longshot for my cast, 124 - 155. Runs great.

Far as I'm concerned with powder, different is different.

    I like clays & AA#7 myself

I would just check Hodgdon’s website. They have data for Universal for 38 Super

I think Hodgdon dropped the word Clays from the bottle to stop some confusion between three powders.
They used to say Clays, Universal Clays, and International Clays
Changed to Clays, Universal and International.

    Here's a bottle from 1994.

Happiness is a couple of 38's and a bucket of ammo.
