Al Nelson has given me the rights to join his team and HONCHO and inventory run molds for him. Whats different you might ask??? The amount of molds to run is 10...so turn around time could be as quick as two weeks in some cases.

Mr. Glenn Larsen has come out of design retirement AGAIN to offer the Design the NOE Molds 450BM- C- 285 (Cast) . It is spec'ed out for around 285 grains maybe a little over as a solid and 270 with the largest HP. Should really optimize the performance of the standard twist rate and potential of the cartridge. Pin options are DEEP, CUP and FLAT.

I only plan to run basic boolits in standard weights and configurations...or boolits that will never make the 20-25 mold minimum. You will sign up here and you will receive a 15% discount for signing up during the group buy period.

NOE- 450BM- C- 285 grain - Al will have to build the tooling for this one. We need 5 to get this into the active and 10 molds to run.

GROUP BUY DISCOUNT OF 15% GIVEN AT INVOICE TIME

Fellow Casters...Please review your orders for accuracy as I intend to send this to Al (NOE Molds) in 7 days for cherry order and production. If you DID NOT concur with the mold builder swap please request to be removed from the buy.

So for the HP mold, does the brass have any advantages over aluminum for strength or wear?

If you keep your mold lubed an aluminum mold is a lifetime buy. My brass molds get kinda heavy and I consider myself part juggernaut.

I’m sure the brass will last longer...but the lighter weight let’s me cast longer. Not like you’re gonna shoot 1000 of these a year anyway.

I have one, brass mold. YES its heavier, I find I am using the mallet to help support on long casting days. I also find with it I can cast longer before overheating and seldom ever see a frosted boolit. Its just one molds experience but so far hands down they are superior.

Will I own more. YES, I have one on order here.

Whats my second choice a 4cav Aluminum. And together they encompass 98% of all molds I will buy going forward.

I have 4cav Alum and 2cav Brass from NOE, 4 cav alum from Accurate, mihec and now Arsenal and they are quite similar and all excellent.

Hoping this picks up as Im wanting this mold!

Im commenting on it across the web forums I visit.

    Update.....

When this was built out for Al to run the design came in light. Increased the width of the grease groove to get it into the weight range that was originally posted.

Design sent to Al for run timeline today. Will send to closed when I get a response and a tentative NLT date for production.
