    Rcbs 35 200

Bit the boolit and bought a mold from RCBS the other day and it cast nice boolits and to say it's great would be a stretch! I guess with all new molds there's a break in period and it didn't take long! The only thing I didn't like about it is the spure plate kept coming lose and then get to tight to close. Other than that is worked out fine!Click image for larger version.

ID:	239816 The mold needs to be hotter than most cast iron molds to keep the wrinkles out so they look a little frosty, will size & lube later, but should shoot fine in my Remington 141 35 Remington!

Congrats on the new mold! You made a very wise Choice for the 35 Remington. That is probably one of the best designed 35 caliber molds money can buy, if you are planning on using them to hunt with you will find no better than the Rcbs 35-200. I have cast and loaded thousands of them in the 35 Remington and for the 35 Whelen. I run my lead temp. Around 750 degrees and it lays golden eggs

I'm not sure my temp is just go by the looks of what I cast! Looking forward to using it for hunting this fall!

I used that mold for my 35 Whelen, and got a one-hole 5-shot group (@25 yds) when it was over 18.5 grs of 2400. Sweet boolit!

I have the Lee version and an NOE version, both cast well over 200. Wondering what the original casts? I am going to remove the gc shank on my Lee to make a plinker, just cause! These have shot well in everything I tried them in, you chose well.

My RCBS 35-200 dropped 220 gr boolits from COWW. I have the Lee version now but haven’t tried it because I’m fresh out of .35 caliber rifle
I’m thinking of having Jes rebore a 22-250 to- drumroll.....350 Savage!

Don't know - I gave it to my son! He had put some money into it (stock, Ceracote) and I decided he should have it. 1917 Enfield, originally owned by my FIL, who stripped it to sporterize, didn't, died later and I got it, found stock & sights on eBay, had GS friend put together, than re-bbl to 35 W. I still cast boolits for him...
