    Thanks for sharing. How do you use the double sling swivel studs? I see you have a saddle ring. Is it just so you have a different option or do you have a specific purpose.

    You got it. Extra slinging options. I carry it on the horse in a scabbard and also between my shoulder blades while skiing "biathlon" style in a sling adapter I made that handles all standard sling swivels mounted under the fore-arem/barrel. I removed the ring.
