    My first lube making experience

    So I bought beeswax, alox 350, paraffin wax, and a crockpot. I made the molds from the sticky with pvc. My first 2 batches went very smoothly and turned out pretty nice. Last night I made 5 hollow bullet lube tubes and made enough to remelt today and make more. Well I thought I turned off my crockpot and unplugged it but I didn’t. The lube mix set in the crockpot on high all night. So this morning when I found it I went ahead and poured 5 more. The color darkened pretty significantly(see picture, right ones of course). Do you think the dark ones that stayed in the crockpot on high overnight are still good? Not sure if they burned somehow(if that’s possible).My mix I used was 8:8:1 beeswax:alox 350araffin wax.

    Personally I would ask your favorite gun whether it prefers caramel or chocolate. It is the only way you are actually gonna know.

    Looks like it might be scorched a bit but i would still give it a try who knows you might be on to something.

    Hey i wasn't kidding i would definitely use them. I made some lube years ago and it worked really good i just wish i could remember what was in it almost out.
