    Try Alliant American Select. Extremely clean burning, and very consistent in both my shotguns and lead bullet handgun loadings.

    I agree 777 is pretty decent stuff it has NO sulfur in it and cleans up with tap water . Where as Pyrodex although a substitute still contains sulfur and it rust causing abilities .

    Everyone has triple 7 in my area, and Jims gold... or something like taht. Everyone stocks those in my area for muzzle loader season.

    I’ve never tried loading 777 in shotgun shells just muzzle loading rifles and shotguns .
